“Salcombe's Harbour Hotel & Spa offers a coastal retreat with a focus on wellness; the spa is a draw, as are the estuary views from private balconies. I appreciate the small touches, like welcome drinks and in-room sherry, which elevate the experience. lovely suite complimentary upgrade
We received a complimentary upgrade to a Suite upon check-in. The suite provided fabulous views of the estuary. The food in the restaurant was excellent. All staff we encountered were friendly and hospitable. The decanter of gin provided was a lovely touch.
The balconies need a makeover. They look quite scruffy.

wonderful stay

great position private car park superb staff
i found the hotel's position to be fantastic! the private car park, managed by an attendant, made parking easy despite the town's narrow streets. the views from the restaurant and terrace across the river were gorgeous. the staff were superb, without exception and very helpful.
the absence of air conditioning made it difficult to get some air in my room and i think safety windows and privacy glass are required.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast included a good selection of items and the restaurant food was top notch. I particularly enjoyed the fresh, local seafood. the terrace offers a great place for enjoying a drink and light meal. the lounge and bar areas provide comfortable settings for relaxation.
